Our Diagnostic Imaging Department is part of the NORrad's Picture Archiving Communications System which continues to improve the delivery of patient care. Radiologists provide readings within 24 hours, and in the case of emergencies, results can be provided within 1 to 2 hours. The department is open Monday to Friday from 8 am to 4 pm. After regular hours, a technologist is on-call for emergencies.

Exams we offer include:

  • Routine x-ray exams
  • Electrocardiograms
  • Holter monitor (24 hrs, 48 hrs, 72 hrs, 14 days)
  • Ultrasounds - Abdominal, Pelvic, Obstetrical, Breast, Carotid, Face/Cheek, Groin, Neck/Thyroid, Scrotum and Extremities

We aim to examine all patients promptly with minimum discomfort.  X-Ray Examinations and  Ultrasounds must be scheduled, as they may require preparations by the patient.  Please call (705)338-3207 to book your appointment.

POCKETHEALTH

PocketHealth is a secure, online platform that allows patients to view their medical imaging instantly. Patients, as soon as they are enrolled, can access their imaging and share their records with any healthcare professional. Patients pay a $5.00 administrative fee per transfer of records into their account. All fee payments are made online.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Patient checks-in and is handed a Paper Enrollment. Patient completes the form and hands it back to Reception; Reception Enrolls Patient using PocketHealth website. Alternatively, Patient can enroll themselves through the PocketHealt website. Patient Receives Access Email 5-30 minutes after enrollment with a secure link to their entire imaging history (imaging+reports). Patient shares their DICOM imaging/reports with their physician or burns a CD/USB from their PocketHealth account.
